Mihail-Liviu Coșereanu is a researcher with extensive experience, currently holding the position of Scientific Director (Scientific Researcher Grade I) at the National Institute for Aerospace Research and Development “Elie Carafoli” in Bucharest since 2017.

He has held the title of Scientific Researcher Grade I since 2007 (in optoelectronics and Lasers). He served as General Director at the Research Agency for Military Techniques and Technologies for over a decade (2005-2016).

His professional background includes a long tenure at the Research Agency for Military Techniques and Technologies, starting as a Scientific Researcher in 1989.

Academically, he holds a Ph.D. in Physics (1994-2000) from the University of Bucharest and a Ph.D. in Military Sciences and Information (2007-2010) from the National Defence University “CAROL I” Bucharest.

He is the Author/Co-author of 5 books and over 120 specialized articles and has been the Director and member in 15 research projects. He is also a Member of the Academy of Romanian Scientists and the General President of AFCEA Bucharest (Armed forces Communications and Electronics Association – Romanian Section).
